Not alone

Ein kleines Klavierstück von mir für euch als Download.  :-)
Meine Tochter findet, dass es nach Weihnachten klingt - und ja, ein bisschen finde ich das auch.  Es passt zumindest in diese Jahreszeit und ich hoffe, dass es vielleicht dem ein oder anderen ein bisschen Freude bereitet.

My daughter thinks it sounds of Christmas - and, well, I have to agree.  It definitely suits this darker and colder season and will create a little coziness.  I hope you'll enjoy playing it!

Songs from the past

...speaking of childhood.

Here is some of the music I grew up with (or was exposed to ;-), and loved as a kid.

The McCalmans, great scottish Folk-Singers. They are hillarious on stage, and our whole family likes them.



Mein Vater war ein großer Fan von Hannes Wader! Wir hatten bestimmt alle Platten von ihm. Hier ein besonders schönes:


My Mom had a record of Joan Baez that I remember very well. :-)


I also had to listen to these guys: Jethro Tull


...and this was always my favorite opera piece: (First part from Cavalleria Rusticana)


An odd mixture. There was of course much more to listen to, like The Beatles, The Kinks, a guy called Knut Kiesewetter, Pavarotti, Fritz Wunderlich, etc.
We had many records to choose from. And my Dad being an ex-Bandleadsinger and amateur Opera Singer listened to them often and loudly! :-)
